In 1998, Jill Lewis developed a concept for a unique product line of team and player embroidered plush bears. Inspired by his wife's idea, Forever Collectibles CEO Michael Lewis developed a business model and began the company with a collection of Major League Baseball Player All-Star bears commemorating the 1999 MLB Boston All-Star Game as its first product offering.
Forever Collectibles has since become one of the premier licensees in the sports collectibles industry adding licenses with the National Football League, NFL Players Inc., National Basketball Association, NBA Players Association, National Hockey League Enterprises, NHL Players Association, over 100 NCAA colleges and universities, NASCAR and Sixteen Individual Drivers, United States Olympic Committee, and USTA during its tenure.
